I have no idea ! One day, I noticed this when cleaning the bike. Somehow, the carbon is splintered, I could easily force my fingernail into (!) the frame. At the time, it didn't affect the frame's stiffness, but nevertheless I got a new frame. I expected they'd just repair it !
