    2012 Olympics - 1 rider per event

The IOC have nothing to do with the qualification criteria, that is set by the UCI. The UCI have screwed up the 2012 Olympics. Who does this affect most? - Britain, Australia, France

    Tour of Britain 2010

Why does the Tour of Britain spend too much time in England.. money. If that's where the money is, Sweetspot will follow. Slowly the race is growing and getting bigger, but until the sport is really big here we have to put up with what we've got. There'll be a day where the TOB can go where...

    Tour of Britain 2010

TDU - I watch those 30 minutes highlights packages Sky Sports shows, nice for an evening viewing. Tour of Britian - Try to go, watch the hour highlights on itv, but the route is weak usually, but thats the way it's funded. Would be nice if it spent more time in the hilly areas of Britian...

    Stage 18 - Friday, July 23 2010, Salies-de-Béarn - Bordeaux, 190 km

OK, Imagine this scenario in Paris. (assume no intermediate sprints) 1st - Cavendish 7th - Petacchi somewhere else - Hushovd Cavendish would win green. This contest is going to Paris - and Petacchi will win I think ;) edit. wrong maths. Petacchi would have to be in 7th i think.

    Hoy out of Commonwealth Games

You do know that track HAS to be built. Glasgow are hosting the 2014 Commonwealth games. The drome is to be named the "Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome". Don't worry about your track, it is being built regardless of Hoy's participation in Delhi.

    Hoy out of Commonwealth Games

Blame the calendar, the new European Championships (well, new in the fact they aren't U23 only anymore) count towards Olympic qualification whereas the commonwealths don't. A smart choice, but one he shouldn't have had to make.

    New London Olympic Velodrome

It won't be a 2011 World cup as these events are already known. it'll be a 2011/12 season world cup.

British Eurosports 2010 TdF Commentary Team

David Harmon and Sean Kelly will be on the route. In the studio, not sure. I'm sure Roche is a guest based on what Nicholas Roche said at the team presentation. I'd imagine Carlton Kirby will do his usual self based in Paris or London and chip in at random points. Studio? I think his...

Belgium Stages - Will we see similar chaos like the Giro

The first 3 road stages will likely to be quite nervous. Stage 1 because of the winds, these come early on in the stage as the race heads inland to Brussels, but some problems could be caused. Stage 2, the favourites won't want to lose any time on the hilly roads, I doubt we'll see much from...

    Kirchen has heart attack

Get well soon Kirchen. Conflicting messages though, Cycling news says heart attack, CQ ranking says Not a heart attack, but respiratory problems and that he was in a coma. Either way, this is bad news.

    Cav is...

I'm not sure if it was on this forum or not. But somebody said Cavendish is probably at 2008 form. I'd agree with that. He's not in his 2009 form, thats certain.

    Protest against Cavendish

I wasn't talking about the main crash itself. Watch at 200m, when Haussler is pushing Cavendish left as Haussler begins his sprint (yes, when he starts, not the bit where cavendish collides) This is before Cavendish collides into Haussler. Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RNAYR3KPIg 8...

    Protest against Cavendish

I went and got my DVD as soon as Brian Smith said that. I have only just noticed it, that was one stupid movement from Haussler. Just confirming my opinion that 25% of the blame is his. Cavendish should have accepted the new position that Haussler forced him into though.
