GuyIncognito, are you aware that Froome suffered a ridiculous amount of undiagnosed and not properly treated illnesses (bilharzia, typhoid, urticaria, blastocystosis and asthma) up until 2012? I think there's only one answer that will satisfy you though, and that belongs in the clinic.

What about Thomas leading Sky at the Giro? The time trials will slaughter Landa (well not the MTT).

Re: Re: I don't see the comparison at all. Cavendish will still be a leader for the Tour, in what could be a World Tour team next year, and with a team built around him. It's not exactly an EPL to MLS scale drop. And I still believe Cavendish can beat any sprinter on his day.

Thomas and Sagan were far away the best domestiques for their leaders. Even Porte was better than Valverde. Valverde clearly held a lot back to preserve his 3rd place.

Looking foward to seeing what Adam can do in Lombardia.

Hating on the Tour has become a fad, I enjoyed it the most. The Giro had some good stages but the GC fight was a bore.

Re: Nibali discussion thread Jeez. It's not a 'breakthrough' as if Joaquim Rodriguez has done something significant for the first time in his career, it would be a 'breakthrough' in the sense that he would have finally won a GT after having had so many high place finishes and podiums.
