ASO wants to leave World Tour in 2017

Re: Re: The UCI has neither stick nor carrot. There is nothing the UCI can offer ASO, except ASO not having to deal with all the rule setting and everything. It is more convenience than anything else. As seen a couple years back, if having the UCI around is no longer convenient, they just do...

    Stage 19: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienn - La Toussuire-Les Sybelle

Re: Re: http://www.letour.fr/le-tour/2015/us/sporting-stakes-rules.html Time bonuses are awarded at all of road stage finishes that is to say with the exception of the individual and team time trial stages. They are 10, 6 and 4 seconds to the first three riders to finish.

    Stage 19: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienn - La Toussuire-Les Sybelle

Re: Actually, I think it perfectly fine if you attack someone who has a mechanical caused by himself. Like Froome just now and Schleck those years ago. Armstrong was different, because that was an outside influence. And crashes are usually caused by others.

    Stage 19: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienn - La Toussuire-Les Sybelle

Although generally I think you shouldn't attack your opponents when they are having material problems, Froome is using the oval ring which increases the odds of your chain dropping a lot. So Froome is asking for it a bit by his material choice.

    Stage 19: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienn - La Toussuire-Les Sybelle

Re: Whole team back together, gap getting that big that a Nibali or Contador will have to do some serious work on their own before even getting close to the break. Time to eat and drink. Sky has control again. Nice for Movistar to have 2 up ahead, but as long as the important 2 aren't and the...

Re: Re: Lots of the journalists are sticking to the facts tho. There are a few exceptions, but most of them are only pointing out the obvious. Which is that it looks a lot like the US Postal times. Which it does. There is a long list of misbehavior by the public. I highly doubt someone...

    Tour de France 2015 Stage 15: Mende-Valence 183km

I think it might also have something to do with the masses on mountain finishes just getting far too big if you do them on a Sunday.

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

Re: Re: His positioning was perfectly fine today. It is just that he and a teammate completely missed the last corner before the last cobbles, so he started them very far behind there. On all other cobble parts he was positioned where he should be.

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

Re: I wouldn't be so sure about them all not crashing. There will be crashes tomorrow. Question is just who crashes and where. Just look at PR itself, always people crashing and that is without GC riders being forced over the cobbles.
