Considering that the stage was quite hard a good performance from Philipsen and Lund Andresen. Sign of good legs for San Remo, but i'm not sure it is enough to survive Cipressa if Pogacar lunches there

    Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne 2026

Normally I would say that Trentin should have launched Mozzato. But Mozzato was on the perfect wheel, Brennan was just too strong. Shame for Philipsen, he looked so strong on the climbs

Thank you, I couldn't find it n the official site yesterday. Pretty hard climb, first half is also irregular with some hard parts. One can definitively claw back the time lost in the ITT. Remco seemed pretty confortable on the steeper parts in Valencia and today he had a pretty good performance...

Is there like any detailed profile of the new climb or are the rider just gonna randomly select their pacing strategy?

Del Grosso is definitively heavier than Nys, an probably than MvdP too. He is about the same size as WVA. What made the two Dutch better on that climb was more seated power.

    119th Paris - Tours Elite (12-10-2025)

AG2R deserves the "Tactically we are perfect" meme award. Happy for Trentin, the race was entertaining but there were a bit too many punctures for my taste, maybe some maintenance on the dirt road is needed.

    European Championship 2025: Men’s RR, October 5

What a monster ride by Seixas, at 19 years old in such a hard race.

    European Championship 2025: Men’s ITT, October 1

Considering Remco is coming from the WCRR, Ganna is the favourite.

It's probaly really hard to stay out of the saddle for several minutes straight, especially for some one who does not gets out of the saddle for long time as an habit. Hopefully he is better luck next time, although I doubt he can match Pogi on the hills

Actually he followed the same trajectory in many races in the past. Suffering on eraly efforts and then coming back thanks to his endurance. He should just accept that this happens when he does not do specific climb preparation and race accordingly, independently of the genuinity of his mechanicals

Honestly, I don't know. He was definitively strong, but he is too fragile mentally. He panicked after getting dropped and stopped twice for problems that I can't say if they were real or not. Could he ave won without that? Probably not, but he would have kept Pogacar busier in the last 2 laps

    World Championship 2025: Men’s RR, September 28

I think the fact that Remco was in the race made Pogacar look way less dominant than what he actually was. Without him, 2nd place probably finish 4+ minutes back.

2025 WC: Thread for all the women's races + Mixed Relay

Attrition meant the favourites didn't have the legs to create gaps in the final laps, however some bad tactics lead to that situation. E.g. I don't get why ELB left the decisive attack go with Malcotti in it, she had pulled like 40 km up to that point, so she didn't really have any chance of...

He was also 28 seconds faster than del Toro from T3 to finish. I don't think you can infer a lost from that for the road race, otherwise Vine would be the favourite hands down
