The group knows what the probable stage time will be at least as soon as they have the race bible... So days in advance. no need to wait til the winner crosses the line. The guys who know they will be riding for the limit have it dialed before breakfast.

You don't miss the cut if they move the time back, which is how it's done. The pro forma time cut is just a target. They make the final decision after the race depending on how the day went. If you miss the cut you're out, if you're still racing the next day then you didn't miss the time...

There's all kinds of things like this floating around design forums. lots of bikes that don't work as bikes, should be cheap, but aren't. my favorite are the bikes made entirely by 3d printers.

old school baller style is to start from the stem, if you are really good you dont even need the little pieces under the brake levers... stuff the end into the bar, plug it... thats how the plugs are designed to work i think... looks good, no e-tape... old school baller style...

no ht... 180mm front and rear... my one bike would be 180mm AM with 1.5 head tube so i can put a VP Varial in it and change the head angles at the top of a hill... they got em weighing 35lbs now... non-racing XC, AM, long endurance rides, park, Super D, no worries... one bike all rides...

yeah... it aint the wheel size... you still gotta drive the thing and make power to the wheel...

people lie and cheat so nothing would surprise me, but i have known him very well in the past and considered him a great friend... his performance in the tour doesnt bother me at all, i am happy to see him riding so well... there are others i couldnt say that for... good guy, great...

just to be clear- i am not saying better brakes will stop riders in the tour from crashing... cuz thats more caused by the fact that they suck at bike piloting, or make errors due to mental fatigue, or road conditions... but... theres a lot more room to improve brakes on road bikes in...

i just remebered that all that stuff is made in asia, so probably it does suck... so i take my earlier reply back... the uci should get these guys on proper equipment made by white people so we know its good...

brakes on road bikes are terrible anyway... road bike brakes pretty much dont stop your bike... but i guess its acceptable to most people, or they dont know its possible to have better brakes... trp mini V or hydros will be the go, and accepted soon... the frames dont suck as much as the...

people have no clue what it takes to be a bike racer or win a race... it is most certainly not about the bike...

I don't like your attitude... Jim wanamaker is in the hall of fame... any body who knows what they are talking about would feel honored to be mentioned along side jim... it means something to be recognized officially for your efforts... And I am proposing a grass roots effort to make...

i was just thinking how awesome Adam Myerson is and what a great success he has been and what a role model he is for his service to the sport of cycling over the years... he should be in the cycling hall of fame... if you agree, lets use this forum to discuss ways to get Adam inducted into...
