    Is Jan Christen riding MSR? I'd say the best chance for Pogacar is for UAE to attack MVDP repeatedly with Del Toro and someone else capable.

    he took a minute out of them last year on his first try - even falling off his bike - and neither of them are getting younger

    Vuelta he only has to ride and finish the race to win it. PR there's only really MVDP to stop him and Pog has a few years on him. MSR - can't see how Pog drops all the sprinters.

    I thought he looked good today - best since Catalunya last year. His teammate being ahead of him in the GC makes it hard to make a definitive judgment.

    maybe they meant better numbers in training? In Vuelta 2025 he looked like he was content to do just enough to win. You would not think Pidcock and Hindley could get within 5 minutes of him in a Tour.
