how about De Vlaeminck as a surprise factor in this? Won a lot of 1 week stage races (6x Tirreno, 1 Dunkirk, 1 Suisse, 1 Catalunya, 2x Sardegna, etc.). GT GC results not nearly as good but once managed a 4th at the Giro.
