    Canyon service

This issue has nothing to do with Canyon. The Mavic wheel broke, Mavic should warrant it. Which they did by giving you a new wheel.

More aero or slightly better fit but hate colour?

I feel that you may need to go custom. The 56cm felt is 4mm shorter on the toptube than the Cervelo. If you have short arms I would have thought that the Cervelo would be wrong size comparing this to the Felt geometry. I understand that the Cervelo has a high head tube, but with the extra 4cm...

Clicking noise from new carbon fork

If its happening when you simply spin the wheel with no load on the fork it is more than likely and issue with the wheel. Could be a loose spindle or collapsed bearing.

    Broken Campy Centaur Egro Shifter

If BustedKnuckle is correct and all that is lost is the bearings and spring, purchase these and repair it yourself. (pull them out of the left lever to check sizes) Or the part number for the replacement parts is EC-CE110 according to the 2009 Campagnolo Spare Parts catalogue. Try contacting...

Campy upgrade 8sp to 10sp ... chain keeps falling off

Can't understand why you could not use the 8speed derailleur. I've been using an 8speed shimano 105 derailleur with a 10speed campag cassette and shifter for over 18months with no problem. As for the chain dropping to the small ring under extreme (Sprinting) load, it could be an alignment...

    Homemade chain lube???

Wouldn't wax paraffin solidify and stiffen the chain. I used lanolin (Wool Fat) once and this would cause the chain to stiffen in cold weather.

Removal of factory paint from old Aluminium mountain bike

Soda Blasting. They use baking soda instead of sand or beads. Can also be used on Carbon. Its not as agressive as sand or bead blasting. Just make sure you rinse down well once the paint is removed. As wet Baking soda may etch into the aluminium if left for long periods.

    Electronic shifting v Mechanical?

To be Honest i very rarely change the front derailleur under load. Generally under load changes only occur on the rear derailleur. However i am generally cautious when out of the saddle and changing the front derailleur. I simply change the front derailleur until the chain is pushed against the...

    Electronic shifting v Mechanical?

Gear changing under load should have no baring whether electronic or mechanical shifting. It is all to do with the chain and the pick up points on the cassette. I use Mechanical Campag, which changes under load with no problem.

    Electronic shifting v Mechanical?

The only major advantage of electronic shifting is the auto trim of the front derailleur when the chain rubs. Other than that mechanical works just as well as electronic (Both Campag & Shimano). Is the extra price of electronic groups worth it when Auto-trim is the only advantage?

    bottom bracket cable guide issue

Don't use Silicone Glue. There is absolutely nothing in the world that will get silicone off if you need to re-paint the frame.

    bottom bracket cable guide issue

Instead of using brake cable housing try using the teflon inner of gear cable housing. This will allow the cable to glide easy and not rub on the metal frame. I'm sure you can purchase the teflon tube as an independent item.
