Paris-Roubaix 2025, one day monument, April 13 (men)

The predictions show not a lot of wind, but it will be a tailwind.

Nys guys finish first - Thibau, second of his name, Coronation Thread

I don't know them on a personal level, so I can't tell a lot about their personality. You know them well?

Ronde van Vlaanderen 2025, one day monument, April 6 (men's)

PR will be something else, trust me. The cobbles are much harder and it's just flat. On the flat cobbles the advantage is for Van Aert, MVDP and Pedersen. You could even see that on the flat section of the kwaremont. Pogi was the clear favorite for Flanders, but he is not for Roubaix.

Ronde van Vlaanderen 2025, one day monument, April 6 (men's)

And what's even more important. You can't compare a steep cobbled climb with a long climb on asphalt. On a steep and relatively short cobbled climb you go in the red and then it is key to recover in the short downhill sections. On a long asphalt climb it is key to keep below threshold. So, I...

Teams & Riders The Remco Evenepoel is the next Eddy Merckx thread

He lost half an hour because he didn't even try the last 2 climbs. If he wanted he probably could have come in like Almeida or something but what's the point in doing that? Now he had a relatively easy 2 last climbs and he was allowed in the breakaway. If he would have been 10 minutes down, they...

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

He didn't lose it in winter because he needed the weight in Flanders. And I can't believe he lost that much between Liege and the Tour either.

Teams & Riders The "MVP" Mathieu Van der Poel Road Discussion Thread

When you look at the profile it looks a bit like "La redoute" from Liege, but even a bit steeper in the middle. It looks better suited for Pogacar type of riders than for MVDP or WVA.

Via Santa Catarina is 200 meters at around 20%. It is a 1 minute effort. Not comparable at all.

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

I really can't see how Pogi can win this tour de France. His preparation was just not ideal and Vinge is looking at this race and this race only for a whole year. If nothing happens with Vinge he will drop Pogi a few times.

Van Aert should be the first guy to make tempo on the last climb. And then he still has Kelderman and Kuss.

    2023 National Championships

Vingegaard didn't compete? Isn't it an obligation for a pro rider to take part in the nationals? I know it is in Belgium.

Teams & Riders Jonas Vingegaard thread: Love in Iberia

I don't get it either. Vingegaard is better on the long climbs and he is also a better time trialist. Furthermore, Pogacar had a less than ideal preparation. So Vingegaard is the only big favorite this year.

Because we will only believe it when we don't see the rainbow jersey at the start of the first stage.

    Giro d'Italia 2023 Giro d'Italia, Stage 7: Capua - Gran Sasso d'Italia (Campo Imperatore), 218 km (Friday, May 12)

You have it wrong. A wheelsucker is a rider who doesn't do the work in the group and then takes the win in the last few kilometers.
