Whatever you want to take from the graph, it certainly doesn’t show if Froome faded or not. It shows a change in the rate of time gained, but there is nothing in the graph that points to the reason for the change.

It is down to the organisers to protect the riders from the crowd, road furniture, motos, etc. (a rider's own stupidity and racing incidents are another matter). They failed to do that in this situation and so it is unfair to penalise the riders and I feel the correct decision was taken. Is...

I don't think he will win, but i'd like to see Luke Rowe have a good result here. He's done pretty well on the cobbles over the past couple of years and with no Thomas or Stannard it is his chance to shine.

I would put Wiggins into the mix. Not as great a palmares as some, but I think he has been more targeted in his ambitions. The coming weeks (PR) and months (Hour) might just push him a little higher on the list.

They can, however, use weather data to work out the prevailing winds for that area and design a bike to take advantage of those conditions. If, on the day, the weather isn't as expected they just use their normal TT bike if it is disadvantageous to use the cross-wind efficient one.
