Bit of a mixed bag today. Team was better, but he loses the wheel so easily and is just scared to bump his way to the front. Often he is in front at 5km before the hill, and then dwizzles off to 50th position when the clim finally starts. Had his moment on the penultimate hill, looked good...

The same mess as in the Dauphine, but no chance to fix this in the Tour off course. Really pathetic racing, if Pogacar moves to the front where Visma is gathering and Vingegaard is up in front you need to be there. "We were caught sleeping" yeah right... Very frustrating, expect him to drop more...

He did get his third victory no? Or were you referring to time trials specifically?

It is really frustrating that he always needs to come from so far... If you see Visma dominating the front, and Pogacar constantly in the first five positions, you need to be there. It's no rocket science. He did too much work in the group of 5 as well.

Outdoors cycling from February on. So give 2 and a halve months. I think that is time enough to perform better on climbs than today.

Remco severly lacking in climbing. I understand he's been injured, but on the other hand, the accident happened begin December, we're May... I have serious doubts about the coaching of SQS.

Great race today. Thought he lacked knowledge of the terrain, his positioning was rather bad. (Has always been a problem) This is less of a problem in the more straight forward Doyenne. Hope he wins there!

PCS is listing him for the Tour of Britain, I found back an article on CyclingWeekly about it, but seems not certain to me.

A shame he lost so many time in the corners, cost him a lot of energy. All in all a very strong performance, he seems ready for the podium bar a bad day off course.
