Purito wasn't the strongest but he was the smartest and they had the team advantage at the end. Henao should be able to gain some time on Purito if he can time his attack better.

Yes, everyone calm down. Let him recover and train well the next month and I think he will be flying in Italy. I think the rest of the team will also do much better when it's time to line up for the Giro.

Re: Re: Maybe he has already done that, maybe not? At the end of the day Tinkov owns the team and it's his decision to make. Oleg might be outspoken and make inappopriate comments on twitter but it's doesn't automatically mean that his decision to suspend Riis was just a temper tantrum.

I don't really see what all the fuss is about. If he really is going for the double then most likely he is just being more conservative with his form at this point of the season (compared to previous years). I think Contador will be in excellent shape at the Giro.

Re: He has taken things too far with all his comments. That being said, he has a right to demand that Riis does his job. If he felt that Riis wasn't fully committed then I don't blame him for suspending Riis. The team needs to act quickly so this thing doesn't drag on.

Porte made a mistake in giving Valverde that kind of space.

Contador will come out fighting as he always has in the face of adversity. Nothing in Contador's career has been smooth sailing.
