    Olympics Doping Thread

Re: Re: I'm not an anti-doping expert but I would be testing the hell out of the Kenyans now, even thinking of banning them like the Russians. This screams that its systematic as well considering the coaches are taking the tests for the athletes

    Doping in other sports?

Not a great day for UKAD, although I question why Fury is suing them and not the Mirror if the allegation made was untrue. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/36952299

    Brits don't dope?

Re: Re: If anything it seems the press in the UK love setting an athlete up to bring them crashing down, the England football team is a great example. How often do the press suddenly release a story shortly before a major tournament about an England player.

    Brits don't dope?

Re: Re: Totally agree, Lizzie will forever have suspicion about her now, UKAD at best look incompetent.

    Brits don't dope?

If the first one is true, UKAD need a serious review of their procedures. Will be interesting to see how many athletes have missed tests. Didn't Farah had missed 2 in the run up to London 2012

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Re: Re: Don't argue about the drug testing. But people shouldn't act shocked that Sky go there regularly when it's well publicised that they have for years. The same way people saying they only go there due to the lack of testing they had been going for years before Froome's comment. You would...

I was under the impression many teams go to Tenerife for a training block in between races which includes the Spring? Sky training there in Spring isn't a shocking revelation to me, thought everyone was aware of it

Re: Re: It's a good read and I agree with a lot of what he said regarding investigative journalists, whistleblowers and that it is easy to cast aspersions but can be hard to prove definitively you're not doping as there will always be theories saying otherwise (but Sky could have done more)...

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

Re: Re: Agree on what happens to whistleblowers. But I also believe this isn't early 00's anymore, phones (recordings) and social media are everywhere. Sky are meant to be disliked due to the way they portray themselves and Murdoch is definitely disliked. Why not combination of investigative...
