    Desacht (known from CycloX/The team Toon Aerts is on in the winter) is apparently willing to join Flanders-Baloise and keep the team afloat for the coming years. They're a hardware store chain who's perhaps best known for renting out containers.

    I'm rather high on Slock personally, but you're right. Livyns, Beullens should've been resigned if you're not gonna keep L Rex. Let's hope the Dutchies on Intermarché join the new team, they should give De Lie at least something.

    I reckon his 2 fractured vertebrae were the main reason and not his facial wounds. Doctors know best in all fairness, it's possible his family was notified or consulted but sometimes doctors need to make that decision on the spot.
