I cheer for the early breakaway, the sprinter coming from 10th position, the rouleurs taking a flyer with 5km to go, the GC rider cracking while desperately trying to defend his lead. I want an American to win on the 4th of July, I want a Frenchman to win on Bastille day. I like to see riders winning in their home races, on their birthdays, in tough conditions.

I cannot chose a specific team to root for, good racing is good racing.
