2012 Tour de France: Stage 7: Tomblaine → La Planche des Belles Filles (199km)

I was surprised Frank didn't make the team. He seems to be the best domestique climber on BMC this year. I also thought Morabito would be there. I don't get why Quinzato is on the team at all.

    Building A Cycling Bookshelf

The Death of Marco Pantani is a great book. It is sad, but so detailed and well researched. Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oui! Oui! Oui! Australian Cyclists In 100 Years Of Tour De France by Rupert Guiness is a happier and interesting read.

Jayco al-'Ula and its GreenEdge predecessors

But Yellow Tail is pretty common in Australia. I suggest the kangaroo is more an overseas marketing technique

Jayco al-'Ula and its GreenEdge predecessors

There is one Outback Steakhouse in Sydney that I know of. But it is a rather large chain in America. I went to one at Niagara Falls. Typical steak place, the names of the meals have Australian geographical references. Lots of Barra, shrimp (as the Yanks call it) and steak on the menu. Of...

Tour de France 2011 STAGE 20 - Grenoble 42.5 km ITT

Thank you, I must be an idiot because I can never find it in SBS's stupid website.

Tour de France 2011 STAGE 20 - Grenoble 42.5 km ITT

I've got a bunch of 9 year olds here for a birthday sleepover and can't watch SBS. Someone got a live online stream?

    Decision time 2011.

I should know better, but I am going to say the time trial will see Cadel win. Mind you, he was going pretty good before the injury last year. 1. Cadel 2. Contador 3. Sanchez 4. Andy Schleck 5. Gesink 6. Arroyo 7. Basso 8. Brajkovic 9. Coppel 10. Van Den Broeck

    Pegasus Sports > 'Gillett-Fly-V' > Non existent

Anyone got an idea on who will ride for Pegasus at continental level and who is returning to Fly V in North America? I saw Aaron Kemps riding in the Bundy area the other day in Fly V colours so.

Other than Merckx, who is the greatest of them all?

Voted for Bartali. You also have to remember his best years were interrupted by the war.

    Astana 2011

Allan Davis told the Bundaberg paper that he has been promised a co leader role for the Tour De France. He said Vino will be for the overall and mountain stages, while he will be going for sprints as well as victories in those stages which are difficult enough to put other sprinters in...

    Rider(s) to watch in 2011

When Robbie hurts himself I think Pegasus will have Cantwell as the man. Having Kemps/Hunter as his last wheel will make him an effective sprinter. I think Cantwell will get plenty of wins. Of course they could go for Hunter, but I don't see the point of that.

    Garmin-Cervelo TdF

With Thor on the team isn't dean redundant? I mean Farrar would be going off Thor's wheel I would have thought. Train = Miller then Lancaster then Thor then Farrar?

Suppose Andy Schleck doesnt ride the Tour in 2011. Who wins?

IT would be interesting if they swapped Horner and Leipheimer's roles. I wonder if Horner would do better than Leipheimer as leader?
