It's that time of the year after TDF where they have to throw someone under the bus to show they are doing something. Someone just big enough. Last year it was Quintana with tramado. Meanwhile the two super TFG mutants are beating everyone uphill, downhills, in time trials, everything...and UCI...

On one hand, we have people like Vingo and Pog perform at mutant levels (because tbh Pog always performs at alien levels) without anything being raised....on the other hand, people like Quintana got raided and shunned because of tramadol?

Just today the MPCC released a statement that it applauds teams not signing quintana. Meanwhile jumbo and UAE teams remain untouched. This is such bs...compared that to froomes case of salbutenol.. Way over limit and the teams and peloton welcomed him back....

This is insane and maybe a bit xenophobic in my opinion. It was weird enough that he was raided two TdFs ago, and nothing came out of it, but now he is being blacklisted for an offense that is not doping? We saw people like Contador and Froome coming back from worse types of offenses without...

as i said before i find kinda frustrating the likes of Froome can get away with much worse (tramadol) ... i enjoy seeeing Nairo ride, the races after the covid ban he was on another level but his knees injuries didnt allow him to capitalize on anything major that year

i think if Nairo had deeper pockets he would have been able to fight it ... kinda like froome or henao when on sky ...

Have not heard anything about Nairo's future in a while, maybe teams waiting to see what happens with his tramadol case defense? Any rumors? I'm kinda bummed that we might not see Nairo in a GT next year :(

Tbh I think Quintana's knees are kinda done. In the stage when he took the polka dot jersey, he needed someone to help him walk to get to the control area, it was weird to see
