With races being cancelled, what are you watching,?

So far I've watched the Tour de France from 1985 to 2019 all the way through, and I am halfway through the giro from 84-2019. I'm doing the Vuelta next.

New site design: Post all feedback here

I come here for the comments. The news is good, but can be had on multiple other websites. The comment section is literally the only reason I visit this site. The comments are gone from the new design.

    2016 TdF, Stage 1: Mont-Saint-Michel → Utah Beach (188km)

Anyone know why Rohan Dennis lost 3 minutes?

Giro Stage 10 Civitanova Marche - Forli 200km

Re: The whole peleton, right when the flag waves. They all stop and swap wheels with the person next to them. This would be brilliant.

Yes, but in another post it states clearly that you did extensive A/B testing before launching this. Having done this for more than 20 years now, I just can't believe that. Extensive A/B testing, stressing the extensive, would have quite clearly shown that this new design is completely unusable...

The A/B testing for "a considerable amount of time", and usability testing with ACTUAL users, is hard to believe. This is not meant to sound rude. But I would visit the site sometimes 4-5 times a day. For years. Not once did I ever get anything like this new site, in any sort of A/B test. Never...

Fair enough. Then time should be given for you all to get things right. The big question I have at this point is why the switchover happened without a lot more user testing? The new design obviously needs a lot of work before many of us are even going to be remotely happy with it. The old one...

. Jeff and PeteGale, I understand everything you have said, and even agree with some of it. There are some serious problems with other parts though. The backend and fronted argument is way more true of older technology (say from 1998) than it is of newer technology. These days if you build...

. I see that some dates and some more information shows up on the races at this point. The big problem with how this is being done is that it isn't uniform. The old way every race had all of those links. Which made it very easy to look at and see what you wanted, and get where you wanted to...

. I had never visited Cyclingquotes.com, now that I have I think it will have to replace Cyclingnews.com until CN figures out their huge mistake an reverts back to the working site design they had before this monstrosity.

100% agreed. Having the general news on one side, and all the races on the other with quick standard links to race information was amazing. It was the reason I visited Cyclingnews.

New site design: Post all feedback here

New site Today I visited my favorite site to get cycling news, CyclingNews.com. I, like everyone else, was sent to this new beta design. This is no longer my favorite site to get cycling news. In fact, I don't see how anyone could possibly use the site anymore. The old site was easy to scan...
