It's not as simple as that, Kämna and Halvorsen are riding the U23 road race.

Can someone explain why the UCI puts the U23 TT on Monday and the Junior TT on Tuesday? A rider like Lennard Kämna had to skip the U23 TT today because of the TTT on Sunday. No chance a U19 rider would ride the TTT. A day of rest on Monday and a couple of U23 riders could do both the TTT and the...

Btw, do you know why Mads Pedersen won't be riding the TTT or the U23 TT at the Worlds?

Great TT by Kämna (who turns 21 on Saturday). Sunweb will be one of the top contenders for the WC TTT in the coming years. Dumoulin, Kelderman, Andersen, Matthews, Oomen, Arndt... :eek:

I don't think Kämna will turn out to be a GC contender in the future. His results in the hilly stages in Romandie and Catalunya are very promising, but in both races he lost a lot of time in the real mountain stages.

Bauhaus should be able to get some top 5 results in the sprints, interesting rider.

Could be an exciting battle for the white jersey this weekend. Latour and Gaudu seem to be the favourites to take over the jersey tomorrow, but if Schachmann can stay within 30 seconds (seems unlikely) he could take it back in the time trial. Also interesting to see what Carapaz, Haig and Kämna...
