    State of the peloton 2021

There's a short interview with Froome on the front page today. He says the peloton in these races is "at the highest level I can imagine for the Tour de France" If that doesn't say it all

    Wout van Aert

Goes hard every day for GC and sprints. Still rides the TT route faster than Cancellara's best time in 5 attempts Totally believable

Teams & Riders Marc Hirschi discussion thread

They can't fire someone just like that, a lawsuit would follow immediately...but none did in this case. Why? Personally I think it was just a case of "sign this or we sue". Spekenbrink and Kemna are motivated by money like no one else.

    General Doping Thread.

Whatever it was, he apparently refused to answer the team's questions about it, "even when asked specific questions" He hasn't sued the team for breach of contract which is surprising, and the team say they're not allowed to talk about it which is also surprising. The only possible...

Teams & Riders Marc Hirschi discussion thread

Ad.nl are reporting that he didn't want to leave and UAE didn't buy him out. He was fired because the team thought he was shady and a risk to the team and sponsors, and didn't have any answers when questioned. But the team can't say exactly what he did or didn't do because Cancellara who...

Running a bike shop and organizing the Tour of Luxembourg. He took quite a lot of flak for the downright dangerous route this year....after the also dangerous route last year Nah, he announced 7 years earlier he'd retire on the day he turned 32. And he did. Definitely. He wasn't motivated...

Clean Colombians? (Arkea investigation page 27)

Re: Re: He was invisible because he had Toxoplasmosis. I'm sure he was still doping the whole time.

Timing of EPO in early 90's that doesn't add up..

So, just like nearly every other doper that has ever been caught. Confessing only to doping later, but claiming his/her first big success was clean, so they can still hang on to the claim that they were talented regardless of drugs. Awesome, thanks!

    Doping in Austria

Re: It's the same clinic. Degenkolb was not specifically named, and neither was Kittel. But the media were confident enough in their sources to report the names of the riders involved. Gretsch was the other high profile pro. In fact, there were several others from the Thuringer team Funny...

    Doping in Austria

It wouldn't even be the first time Kittel and Degenkolb were caught manipulating their blood in this same clinic Last time they got off on a technicality. I doubt it happens a second time.
