    Wiggins Discussion thread.

You're missing the fact it's a Tour de France winner who based the front of his season around Paris-Roubaix. That is not a common occurrence, and this was the first test of his form. The fact that he was with the front group the final time up the Kwaremont is noteworthy. Especially as he was...

    Wiggins Discussion thread.

It's like people didn't even watch the race. He was with Thomas the entire way round, sheltering him, getting him to the front at the important times, and doing a great team job. After the big crash he did a lot of riding on the front getting Thomas back to the front group.

Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 4, Narni -> Prati Di Tivo, 173 kms (09/03/2013)

Maybe direct that at Contador who now can't beat the likes of Santambrogio and Kwiatkowski whenever he wants. Maybe that's the change.

Wiggins knocked off bike, broken ribs suspected.

You have got to be kidding. Journalists do not point cameras into people's cars. Scumbag paparazzi hoping to make money from someone else's misery point cameras into people's cars.

Wiggins knocked off bike, broken ribs suspected.

Clearly it's fine to photograph him in the privacy of his car as he leaves hospital, but I don't know where to draw the line. The one I got through the window of him in his hospital bed turned out nice. Also stuck the camera through the window of his house, and got one of his kids welcoming...

I don't want Wiggins, or anyone, pandering to an audience who want cameras pointed into cars. And "journalist" is a stretch.

But I thought it was to stop dopers from confessing. What's going on?

Get away with if for long enough, and you'll escape punishment (some of you anyway). That's the message we need kids to hear. Never teach kids to own up to their mistakes and take their punishment.

Saturday, june 16th - Tour de Suisse, stage 8: Bischofszell - Arosa 148km

Nice breakaway group, none of whom are a threat to the overall. Got a chance.

Friday, june 15th - Tour de Suisse, stage 7: gossau- Gossau 34km ITT

It was okay. I think that's about what you can expect from him. He hasn't done a real good TT in years.

Friday, june 15th - Tour de Suisse, stage 7: gossau- Gossau 34km ITT

Put it together for 3 weeks and he's a big, big contender.

Friday, june 15th - Tour de Suisse, stage 7: gossau- Gossau 34km ITT

At this point I think Lofkvist is what he is. A good enough climber to hang around the top 10 in some good stage races, and either stay there or fall out based on the usual end of race TT. Recently his longer TTs have been very poor, and he's been dropping out. He could still force his way...

Thursday, June 14 - Tour de Suisse, Stage 6: Wittnau - Bischofszell, 198.5 km

Perfect for Sagan again. Will be nice to see Sagan when he finally sprints against the elite on a non-twisty, non-uphill, non-field reducing course. That's not intended as a shot at Sagan at all, there are just only so many time it's fun to watch his main competition be Haussler. Think...
