    TdF sprints

Who should contend these, besides the usual suspects? Kittel Cavendish Greipel ------ Sagan Kristoff Demare Modolo Viviani Rojas Goss? Matthews? ----- Lobato? Haussler? Bennett? Coquard? D.Van Poppel? What do you guys think, who will contend? Anyone missing from this list?

    TdF underdog sprinters

*This is not the Green Jersey/Sprints Thread* Cavendish will be good. Sagan will be good too. Kittel and Greipel will be up there. But who else contends in sprints? I.e. who consistently top 5s or even top10s? I'd go with: Farrar Bouhanni Goss Kristoff? (good form) Renshaw...

    2012 Tour de France - stage 3: Orchies - Boulogne-sur-Mer (197km)

Wow. That's Cavenish in a sprint-like odds. After yesterday's disappointment I see only Sagan winning here though. And I definitely expect him to win a flat sprint or 2 before the Tour is over.

2012 Tour de France: Stage 2: Visé → Tournai (208km)

Solid info. Nice heads-up. I'm very anxious to see what Sagan does to be honest, I can see a 6-8 finish where he doesn't really contend, but I can also see a top 3 or stage win. If he does win, 5 wins is not unreasonable this year.

TDF: Monday, July 2nd. Stage 2: Visé-Tournai, 207.5km What can Sagan do on the flat stages? Can he top 3 with guys like Kittel, Greipel, Cavendish, Goss, Petacchi around? Last km:

Saturday, June 30 - Tour de France, Prologue: Liege - Liege, 6,4 km

Head-to-head, who are you picking for the prologue? Nibali. JVDB. Froome. Kittel. I'm leaning Nibali.

    Top 10 Sprinters

Since we've discussed green jersey winners etc. and with a lot of us in fantasy tour de france leagues or looking to make some (friendly) bets, who can consistently finish high up in sprints? Note: this is not "who will win the green jersey?". If someone can consistently top 10 he's valuable...

Who will win 2012 Tour de France v2.0

Evans will win is he is as strong as last year. He could even gain time in stages like stage 1 and Plateau des Filles (sp?), where he and riders like Nibali can finish 10-15 secs in front of Wiggins

who is gonna win the white jersey in the tour de france

No love for Van Garderen? 100km+ in ITT and not terrible in the mountains..

    ESPN = Idiots

Negative. I work in brandwatching and companies like ESPN will hire agencies to individually code every social media mention of their brand/reporters. The cyclists' negative tweets will therefore not influence Mr.Smith's career in a positive way.

    Sprinters

Turgot had a decent Tour last year. Maybe he could get some more top 10 finishes this year.
