I agree with a socialising forum too, helps people get to know one another a little better. After all, life is not just about cycling! *hinter ducks behind sofa anticipating outraged responses!*:p

I was in stitches watching that, and Riis's reply (with a resigned smile on his face) "Of course you are Jens!" was classic.

Thing is, they can't really stop the race whilst the riders don body armour and full face helmets;)

I would never go out without a helmet, just as I'd never ride a motor bike without one. I've only got one head!

I remember, years ago, seeing a TV programme where they got a bunch of different sportsman together and the tennis player came second iirc. Can't remember who was first and I don't think they had a cyclist on it. However, I can't believe that even a 5 hour tennis game can compare to a mountain...

I really enjoyed his win last year. It was a combination of pure talent on Satre's part and outstanding teamwork from CSC. However, he's another year older now and has a weaker team so I can't see him defending the title. Are Cervelo guaranteed a ride?
