    Turkish Athletics Mass Fail

Judging by this article there is a massive story developing here, surely if as stated dozens are positive its inductive of doping sanctioned at some level in their athletic federation. I am not comparing it to cycling as I'm not as knowledgeable as most here...

    Tour de France - Stage 8, 195km - Castres / Ax 3 Domaines, July 6th

Really enjoyed today's stage, and as a Brit was obviously thrilled with Froomes performance. However I think Sky have played their cards too early, I can see alliances forming and putting Sky under huge pressure over the next two weeks. Its certainly not over and I can't wait to see how...

Cavs had a great Giro, I didn't think he would finish it, so full credit to him and not sure what was going on with the intermediate Sprint today but he won it 3 times.

    The Official Lance-Oprah Excuse Contest

Having just read a piece that suggested all the EPO in his samples was synthetic... because he had doped so much his body had stopped producing it naturally. Is there anyway he could turn it around and say the cancer stopped his body producing EPO, so he had to take it in order to live or...

Nicole Cooke attacks drug cheats in the womens peloton

The article opened my eyes a bit to the workings of the peleton (assuming mens is the same). The fact that team owners/managers seem so vindictive - making sure in future they will be chased down if in a break...all because they didn't blindly follow the teams whims or doping practices...

Basso suggests Sky doping? Likens them to Armstrong/USPS

Being a relative newcomer to cycling, and probably a lot less cynical than most posting in the clinic threads, I can't read anything into Basso's comments quoted in the OP. However his latest comment that Wigs + Nibs would need to be at 110% in the Giro to beat him does seem to hint at...

remote access attack on PC, related?

I lol'd :) Just wondering how you think "they" managed to get your home IP? Mind you, 600+ profile views would suggest you are doing something right/wrong? But seriously I guess you could have had a PM with an image embedded or something similar, and had your IP exposed quite simply...

Who will win the Olympic ITT?

Just watched the medal ceremony and Wiggo didn't even look at Froome, he even turned to Martin to get him to step up the podium for the photos. Maybe I'm reading too much into a nothing situation?

Teams & Riders Mark Cavendish Discussion Thread

Brailsfords comments would seem to suggest Cav + SKY will be going their separate ways. With SKY wanting to focus on GC's they probably wouldn't even take Cav to next years tour. This tour I really missed HTC and their immense strength in chasing down so many breakaways. I know I'm probably...
