Of all the things that I expect out of Remco being able to stay with Pogi on one of his all out uphill attacks is pretty low on the list.

In fact Visma had 2 firsts and 1 second UAE had 1 first and 2 seconds RBH EF and Q 36.5 each had 1 third. That suggests to me that RBH and Q36.5 are on equal footing. In GTs anyway Q36.5 might be stronger in 1 day races.

If I'm Roglic I would look to win Tour of Switzerland and set the record for Vuelta wins at this career point. Maybe not quite the same as a TDF win but infinitely more achievable.

The only prior Elite mens race on this course was the Belgian Nationals 3 years ago where Van Aert rolled off the front before the half way point and finished about one and a half minutes before Sweek. This race was a lot more exciting and I'm a Van Aert fan.

Does anyone know what's ailing Van Empel? After dropping out on Saturday at the first time passing the pit she was a DNS on Sunday. I didn't hear any mention regarding her absence on the Sunday coverage.
