Roglic has been keeping his powder dry. Today, this changes. ;) Though it may still be too early to reveal the cards... :innocent:

Not on the descent, at least. Both had rain in the finish as well. So, not sure what support you have for this claim.

De Ronde van Vlaanderen 2025: Who will win?

I am trying to decide if it's impressive that you were in the same shape in '97 and '22 or depressing. In any case, hats off for your consistency! :beercheers:

How do you rate the 2024 la vuelta a España?

Stronger Kuss (Cian, Visma) and Yates, & Almeida staying in the race, would have added to the fun. The green jersey was uninteresting, with or without WvA. The latter's fall was sad. By far the most compelling GT of the year. Absence of an alien helps, even if Rogla had it pretty much under control.

    Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2024, stage 21: Madrid - Madrid, 24.6k (ITT)

I beg to differ. Fans of Bora, at least, may well be NFL watchers. But, indeed, some backward places may still be stuck on just Soccer. "The U.K. and Germany each have 3.3 million “avid fans” of the NFL in a category that's been growing quickly for both, but Germany has slightly more “casual”...

Teams & Riders Official Wout Van Aert thread

As soon as Benji Naesen said on LRCP that Kayden should keep sprinting for 2nds etc because you never know if the leader will have to drop out, I feared this may happen. :disappointed::weary: Hope WvA comes back soon! A glorious Vuelta for him, and because of him.

Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2024, stage 16: Luanco - Lagos de Covadonga, 181.3k

20 seconds for BOC for holding on to the car (before his mechanical). Or do the rules not apply if you have a mechanical afterwards?

Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2024: First rest day thread

Assuming Rog's back will not be a factor, admittedly a huge assumption, he should still be the favorite: he came into Vuelta in (again, hopefully) an ascending form (due to doing only a partial prep according to some reports), and has a higher max level than others. But who knows. What fun.

On the other hand, Brb have to attend to more riders/teams now, more so than Deca, who still have a nice buffer (partly thanks to Gall's pacing). Brb should be hoping that Martinez and Vlasov came to Vuelta undercooked and are riding themselves into shape. I fear though that they are out of it.
