    Will Armstrong be indicted?

Personally I don’t think that he will be indicted. Which is not to say that I think he shouldn’t be. As I have said on this forum a few times, for me the real propagators of the omerta have been the DS’s, team doctors and team helpers that have helped shelter and promote questionable...

    Cycling Rollback

I have mixed feelings on this. In general I agree with second chances in life etc.. but the difficult part to stomach is that some riders come back without ever being repentant about past transgressions – vino, Ivan “I only planned to dope” basso etc.. but if you step back and think about...

Lance Is A Thief (If He Doped)

The statement that "Lance is a thief (if he doped)" seems very general and simplistic and to be fair could be applied to a significant number of the Peloton in the early nineties up until recently. Like most on the forum, I am an avid fan of cycling, professional racing, all the classics, tours...

    Should those caught using PEDs..

In short yes. Harsh bans for those who do not expose how, where and from who they recieved the PED's and in what events - then backward testing on those events to see why the did not test positive previously. Short bans - 1yr / 18 mths for those who sing like a canary.

    Manolo Saiz is coming ....

I think you are right. I remember back in the early nineties reading about how Saiz came from a non-traditional director sportif background, a PE teacher or something of the sort, and how all his riders were then using the new polar HRM’s and would fax in the results and outputs from their...

    Thomas Dekker tells the truth

spot on! It is very difficult to believe him or feel sympathy for him given his lack of willingness to come fully clean. He saying what he thinks is the least he can get away with in order to appease public perception. But unfortunately the way it comes across in the article is that he is...

    UCI Donation

For me I would be shocked if the UCI or any other sporting organisation did any testing of any sort themselves. I have always (perhaps wrongly) seen these organisations as administrative bodies only who outsource the technical aspects of their mandate and purview. It is incredibly...

    UCI Donation

you would think some enterprising young journo would ask this obvious question. The fact that the head of the UCI can whip out pieces of paper from folders marked “confidential” is incidental to the question of – why do you have one of these machines?

    Who is Big Toro

Anyone any idea who Big Toro is? he seems to know LA. See the comments below on the bottom of the article. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jonathan-littman/lance-armstrong-chased-by_b_643340.html

    UCI Donation

I have been trying to get an anwer on this as it is something that baffles me, and perhaps someone here has the answer as the guys on bikeradar dont but it is a fairly simple question. Why does the UCI need a sysmex testing machine? Don't they outsource all their testing?
