    2012 Tour de France: Stage 16: Pau → Bagnères-de-Luchon, 197 km

+1 Sums it up perfectly for me. I just want to see Wiggins have to 'Dig into his suitcase of courage' at least once in this race. :)

    2012 Tour de France: Stage 13: Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux → Le Cap d'Agde (217 km)

This stage is going to b a nervous one if the wind gets up as forecast (20km/h WNW). Lots of teams scrambling to b at the front. An ill-timed mechanical or poor positioning could see a GC contender lose loads of time, if it was Wiggins, that would b high drama, would the bunch wait? Would Froome...

    Paris-Nice 2012: Stage 2 Mantes-la-Jolie - Orléans (185 km)

Van Garderen is in the white jersey

    Wiggins Discussion thread.

Yep I think u can expect him to b slammed just as quickly if he puts a foot wrong. His ride didn't surprise me that much after his strong performance in the Dauphine, though he did show some signs of fading in the final mountain stage, so if the TT puts him right back to the top of the GC, can...

USAPCC Stage 1: Salida to Crested Butte 159.9km (23/8/2011)

Yep, he sure did take his turn at the front, right when it mattered the most. Well done to him.

USAPCC Stage 1: Salida to Crested Butte 159.9km (23/8/2011)

Oh I don't know, with one of those bears on the wheel, I reckon you'd see some of those sprinters turn into climbers pretty quickly, even Levi might be prompted to take a turn on the front :p

    Transfers and Rumours 2011 > 2012

Any news on Matt Lloyd? Haven't heard squat in regards to him picking up a new contract. I guess GE and maybe BMC are the most obvious choices, he does follow BMC on twitter, how's that for a long bow to draw :D

Jayco al-'Ula and its GreenEdge predecessors

Bannan has pretty much stated that the Classics are going to be the focus. The riders that they've acquired is in line with this. Nice to see that he's not talking about the Tour GC in the next year or so.

Thor confirms BMC! Better for Cadel?

lol, u 2 crack me up. Would that be asstronomy instead of astrology? :D Sorry for perpetuating the off topic conversation... :o

Thor confirms BMC! Better for Cadel?

Thor will have to seek his own opportunities without compromising Cadel’s Tour aspirations, he's not a sprinter in the pure sense of the word anymore, he’ll have to look for the breaks like he did this year. I'm sure BMC management have thought this through, as I'm sure Thor knows BMC's focus...

Philippe Gilbert, Cyclist of the year

1st - Gilbert by a fair margin for sure, he's simply owned it for pretty much the whole season, big races and small. 2nd - Evans, he's had the season of his life, he's won most of the races he's entered, he managed to realise a dream that many thought was not possible at the age of 34. 3rd -...

    Transfers and Rumours 2011 > 2012

Yeah I think the US circuit is where he'll end up. BMC has a few guys like him that are still there from BMC's Continental days, at least for him with BMC becoming a Pro Tour Team he had the opportunity to race in Europe at the highest level.

when did we start supporting teams instead of riders?

Is what your saying we should be supporting cycling in a particular way? And that way shouldn't really be Team based but really individual based? I think we should be able to support in what ever manner we like, be it team or individual. Some people can be just as over the top with their support...

The importance of Captains on the road 2012 season

With race radios being phased out, the DS will turn to their captains to make key tactical descisions during critical points in the race and help co-oridinate any team strategy, especially in situations of confusion where the race blows apart... you need a cool head. So their role may have...
