    - Jakob Fuglsang - Fabian Cancellara - Fränk Schleck Interestingly, all the crashes occured at relatively flat and straight sections of the route. I don't think you can blame the organizers for that.

    What did Boonen do wrong? Rojas went to the left so that Boonen had to leave his line. Rojas didn't allow him to hold his line. But I expected that decision.

    What a pity! He was fighting up the mountains the last days despite feeling really bad with his lunginfection. However, his results were still remarkable. Not a good season for him. Remember his crash in Switzerland.

    Curiously Freire pulls out just before the stage which will pass through his home town. Why not wait one day with that?! People would probably wait for him there.

    Can anybody please explain to me why France and Slovenia have seven starters instead of six and Luxembourg four instead of three? I tried to figure that out by myself but these rules are not easy to understand for non-native speakers...
