    New site design

Unlike may I don't think the old site was perfect, it was very cluttered and untidy, but nothing that a simple clean-up couldn't have solved. The new site is rubbish. It's horrifcally slow, nothing works, dead links, no results, multiple clicks - same as all the million other complaints really...

What pro cycling sponsors products do you use?

For what it's worth: I've got a Saunier Duval boiler, but that was because it was recommended and nothing to do with cycling. Will only get Sky if they show the classics and races other than the Tour live and for more than 2 hours each time Nearly moved my mobile to T-Mobile last year, but...

    Slipstream: Has their time passed?

Slipstream still matter, they're having a duff season so far other but some notable results are starting to come - Farrar and Martin. Lampre are also having a pretty rubbish year. But Garmin haven't been going well in the last week of the Giro, but that said, Columbia have also been going...

    Team Sky wishlist.

Because he's crap? He may well pursue Sky, but they won't be pursuing him. Cunego wouldn't surprise me. A lot of people on this thread are just looking at making lists like 180Cranks says, most are missing the emphasis that Sky have placed on their intention to do things differently to how...

Worst chrashes you've had or seen first hand

Stem snapped. Smashed face into road and in doing so smashed glasses into face. Result: Out cold on the road, ambulance, 3 hours in A&E with a plastic surgeon pulling pieces of glass out of my face. 43 stiches around my and an overnight in hospital. Otherwise I came out of that pretty lightly...

    Cavendish at it again

WBT at it again. Your mouth is about as quick as Cav's is. Shame your brain isn't quite as good eh?

Leipheimer beats up on some local amateurs.

No reason, just interested. Used to like him as he rode for Helvetia. Not so impressed with the direction a lot of those riders chose when the team folded though.

    Why did you stop racing?

Because I needed to do something else other than train and race. Came out of retirement last year but the quality of riding seems to have gone downhill badly in the last 5 years and saw too many bad crashes in too few races and don't have the time or motivation to train myself out of the lower...

    McQuaid's gotta go

Action on McQuaid? Well Lionel Birnie has started... http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/The_Wednesday_Comment_April_29_article_281627.html The graph above. Interesting, but only really for the trends it shows. As someone pointed out there is a spike in '96. In '97 the 50% "health limit" was...

    Poor innocent managers!

Actually, what Bruyneel talks about is silencing the press. Which is a whole different ballgame to not allowing press leaks...

    2009 Liège-Bastogne-Liège *winning move*

But...Gilbert finished fourth, although that will now be third. OK, I grant you he didn't make the final selection and that selection was full of alleged chargers and only got third because the chase was swallowed...but without Andy Schleck chasing, he may well have stayed away and even Scheleck...
