Re: Kennett expended all his energy gaining the lap. The next time the pace was lifted he was dropped and eventually he gave up. The cameras showed him a couple of times but the commentators (in the UK at least) missed it.

Re: They said they were taking the times from 3k so it will take a while to sort it out. Its not just how much time Yates had but also those behind the lead group - including some who made it back to that group by the finish due to the delay.
