Since When Do You Like Contador?

I remember 07 Tour thinking. Wow! That's awesome. While I don't root for Contador as much as Andy, I do admire his riding style and his aggressiveness, and I hope he wins the Vuelta. So I'm a "fan", I guess.

Which GC riders should compete in the Giro instead of the Tour in 2013?

Sanchez - no reason to change focus. Just needs better luck. Evans - he obviously likes the Giro, and I sadly can't see him finishing on the podium in the Tour again, though I would happily be proven wrong. Nibali - the clear favorite for the Giro if there is no Contador. Should focus on...

    Tejay Van Garderen.

Tejay lives in Colorado, you know.

Tour de France: Stage 19, Bonneval - Chartres 53.5km

Tejay might still finish in 4th. Got back 2:03 over VDB over 41 kilometers, so an extra 34 seconds over an extra 10 kilometers isn't out of the realm of possibility. Tejay starts before VDB.

At least I'm consistent with my stupidity! :p

    2012 Tour de France: Stage 16: Pau → Bagnères-de-Luchon, 197 km

I think it's safe to say times have changed. :p That stage was also 326 kilometers long, which, as you'll note, this is not. ;) Expect 1 minute between the first GC guy and the tenth, unless Nibbles goes on the Peyresourde, then maybe 1:30. Of course, I would love to be proven wrong. I just...

    2012 Tour de France: Stage 16: Pau → Bagnères-de-Luchon, 197 km

Something seems familiar to me, these climbs, these cities, what is it? Oh, yeah... Prudhomme is an expert when it comes to wasting the tough climbs, that's for sure. Hopefully going in reverse will be more selective, but I wouldn't be surprised to see 10 guys together at the finish, and...

    2012 Tour de France: Stage 16, Samatan-Pau 158.5 KM

My goodness I hated circuits, made a B but only because the tests were straight from the homework! But I guess a little bit of KVL practice would be a good thing. :p Oh, there's a stage...Cav, I guess. The flat stages actually have been pretty interesting, but this one doesn't look any good.

New German Team Alpecin Trek with Schlecks?

Thanks for the link. I would certainly hope they have more than 6 riders though! :p

New German Team Alpecin Trek with Schlecks?

I think getting away from Brunyeel and Becca is the best option for the Schlecks. Obviously they trust Anderson so having him involved is good. Voigt and Gerdemann are good starts. Obviously they'd love Cancellara to join them, but he has to do what's best for him. I can only see him going to...
