I agree completely. I don't see a clash for 2026 really, for me Lidl-Trek have a bigger issue splitting Milan and Pedersen if Mads wants a crack at completing the sprinters jersey sets. Ayuso clearly wants the TdF, and whilst Skjelmose could also target that, he only really has one successful GC...

Bit of a step up for him, he was originally meant to be racing with Arkea's devo team for 2026/2027. Had a typically slow first U23 season this year, but a strong junior career. If he fulfils the talent he has, he's a massive get for Cofidis given they don't have a devo team.

They were also in talks with Matteo Scalco, but no contract was signed yet as of a week or so ago when the rumour was reported

Movistar confirm the renewals of Torres, Nairo (2026), Oliveira, Arcas (2027), as well as extensions to 2028 for Cepeda and Aular, who had contracts for 2026 anyway. Pau Marti goes pro with IPT or Cycling Academy Any news on SportVlaanderen? Joppe Heremans has remained a Conti rider with Van...

Per Marca, Movistar are all set for 2026 and a 27 man team. Quintana already had a contract for 2026, and Arcas, Torres and Oliveira are all to be renewed. No space for Gaviria, Guerreiro, Cimolai or Pedrero...

Going to be interesting to see what else they can bring it with all that is going on. Gee, Riccitello gone, Woods and Fuglsang retired (and Clarke after TDU), Pickrell heading to the Hincapie team allegedly and Ackermann to Jayco. Plus surely not another contract for Froome. Only Askey and...

Not too familiar with this one, but seems a weird one. Another team with budget issues? You'd think having been unable to pay Lenny and losing Kung, they would have some $ to do better than they've done so far. No pressure Gregoire, but it's all on you to points score unless we see massive...

Marsman is a very strong rider and it was actually quite harsh he didn't get a deal with a pro team before he left the U23s. That a team like Alpecin is clearly challenged budget wise is quite disturbing. Is that due to how much they've invested in MVDP, Jasper and Groves or is the budget...

On the Spanish front, Marca are reporting Ion Izagirre will sign on at Cofidis for another season, which could be his last as a pro. Carlos Verona gets a newly-minted 3 year deal at Lidl-Trek. Diego Uriarte gets two more years at Kern Pharma after winning a Ruta del Sol stage this year. Caja...

Absolutely, at the moment it's a great marriage and anything else, only time will tell. And it's great for Movistar that they've been able to get Cian and also Novak, considering for various reasons over the years from lack of devo team to not enough $, they've not got their hands on Rodriguez...

Based on the Plugge/Cian statements in the press release, it seems he wants to be a leader in big races and isn't going to get it at Visma. Jonas is Jonas, Yates won a GT this year so he deserves another leader role and Jorgenson will at some point want sole leadership. Wout will get to support...

Holmes appears to have confirmed on his Instagram that he is heading back to HBA for 2026 as opposed to going pro with Jayco. Probably the best decision for him right now
