Teams & Riders The Red Bull - Bora - Hansgrohe team thread

They even might be lucky enough to get one podium from dedicated sprint train that they'll also send.

Teams & Riders The Remco Evenepoel is the next Eddy Merckx thread

I think it was exciting and all, but I don't think they are too happy at Red Bull. After all they bought him in to win GCs not some random stages. Against a field like this he needs to ride more conserving. They should pair him up with Roglic to teach him to not waste his watts during stage races.

Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

And he even led the Giro, even though he supposedly arrived there a little undercooked. Whatever the case, we haven't seen a single stomp from Rogla since Catalunya and we may never see one again. Arguably he hasn't been in peak form since so we don't really know. Might be that he is still the...

Milan San Remo, March 21, 2026, 298 km monument

Yep. There's some serious syndrome in peloton and they all are just happy to be there after Pogacar is gone. It's a shame we didn't see what happened in the main group at Poggio. Judging by the results, everyone was happy to ride in line and chase Pogacar and Pidcock like they were a couple of...

    Tirreno-Adriatico 2026 March 9-15

I think yesterday the plan was for Rogla to attack on the last climb and close Del Toro's attacks, but neither RBH rider had the legs to execute it. It seemed like Pellizzari was having trouble staying in the group from the start of the climb and Roglic was also at his limit following Del Toro...

Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

His seasons openers have been like this for two seasons so nothing new. I don't think he looks that bad. Rode good TT and he has been climbing pretty much on the same level as Pellizzari. Surely the stomp is still missing but if he can find some of it back and improve his climbing as the season...

    Andorra Cycling Masters 2025

After this RR and TT double Roglic now needs a golden helmet and bike wich are a brighter shade than Remco's.

Tre Valli Varesine 2025, one day race, October 7

That's exactly how I have planned it. Since Remco and Lipo are also riding Lomabardy, it's a great place to show that you shouldn't count him out yet.

Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

It is often a bit difficult to cheer on the biggest favorites and Visma was still a superior team under Roglic. Maybe that's why you didn't notice what a great character he is. Either way, you're forgiven. Great ride at the WC the other day considering the late arrival and the length of the...

Vuelta a España Angliru climbing time

Yesterday's stage only confirmed my suspicions that Roglic would have easily won this year's Vuelta.

    My top ten, on talent

Ullrich is usually mentioned in this context. If things had gone differently, he could have won the Tour de France ten times. Of course, he competed in an era when it was difficult to separate talent from suitability. Roglic also needs to be mentioned. It takes a lot of talent to be so...

Teams & Riders The Red Bull - Bora - Hansgrohe team thread

Lipowitz has become very overrated quickly. Sure he was third on the Tour like Remco last year but I don't think it was very contested this year. All credit to Onley and Vaquelin, but I don't think that they are even top 10 gc-riders at the moment on even playing field. Plus out of form Roglic...

Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

I'm happy he finally got to the finish. The start looked bad because he was clearly not in the best shape, but as the Tour progressed I learned to enjoy the situation as it is, just like Rogla himself. Maybe this was a farewell to the Tour, maybe not, very fitting that we don't know. However...

Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

Hope he can fight back to form. Would be sad if this is his farewell to the Tour and he can't fight back after that farce in the Giro. Judging by Lipowitz's performance, third or even second place on the podium would have been there for the taking.
