According to norwegian TV2 Lars Petter Nordhaug has agreed terms with SKY and the signing of him will be announced in short time. Maybe not a big surprise as long as he has been linked there for awhile.

Stavanger is hardly the northernmost norway more like south west, but I guess you mean Norway is far north. Svein Eirik Bystrøm will sign for two more years as far as I understood.
I heard in an interview with Kristoff on NRK( Norwegian Broadcasting) just after the tour the France the name Jacopo Guarnieri from Astana mentioned, but it was never mentioned again in other medias or interviews after that.
According to norwegian tv2 on yesterdays stage 18, they said Lars Boom had sigend for Sky next year. I dont know their source of their information, as I did not catch them mentioning this.
According to Hushovd on the press conference he has been cycling with the mononucleosis virus in the body since 2012. He also said his biggest achivment on the bike was getting the results he got in cyling without doping, this was what he was most proud of during his careere.
Thor Hushovd will announce he will retire after this season after at press conference at a press conference according to tv2.no.
Hushovd is tired of sickness and lack of results and no longer have to motivation to keep up his cycling carrere...
I hope for Hushovd, but I think Vanmarcke or Cancellara take this one. Hushovd have not showed much so far in the classics but he usually do well in P-R, so I think he will get a top ten if he avioids accidents.
Hushovd won the time trial championship as u23 but never the road, before he become road champion in 2010. I think it would be impossible to win the pro championship the consecutive year after a u23 win the level gap is to big for that. It takes some years of hard training to stay the distance...
Then the BMC line up is out: Cummings, Oss, Phinney, van Garderen, Schar and Quinziato. I am a little surprised Pinotti is left out and Hushovd as well, but I am no expert just a regular fan. But Pinotti should have been in there in my opinion.
For me Savoldelli and Hushovd is the two greatest. Savoldelli was always a pleasure to watch in the giro and his skills was outstanding.
Hushovd is not so visable cause he is never in the front group. But when he go in breaks at the tour like the solo breake in the hunt for the green jersey...
I think this four are safe bets for the BMC selection: TJVG, Phinney, Pinotti and Hushovd. I dont think Evans will put priority to this , but if he does he is in the team. Quinziati, Schar an Bookwalter fighiting for the last two spots i think.
Would be nice to see the team selections before making a vote, but I hope for BMC. I read somewhere they were having a pre camp in Italy before the race so the obviously putting much energy into getting a result here.
I dont belive in GVA in this race he just come back from racing in America and will still struggle with the time diffrence so he needs another week for beeing at his best.
Nice to see Svendsen preforme well in this race, after he got selected for this race the national coach got some critcs from other procontinental teams. I think he definitly showed his potential today and his preformance justified his selection for the norwegian team.
Well the weather in north is pretty unpredictable so the weather here was pretty good during the race, so next year can be rain and wind and no scenery at all. But my point is that is nice that people from other parts of the world than south and central Europe get the canche to see top cycling...
