It looks cowardly, I agree on that. But it also shows who uses their brain when they race. It made no sense to use so much effort for a marginal gain the day before the real struggles begin. Jonas is smart, Remco is bold and eager.

So Remco just told reporters that he was about to change grip on his handle bars when he hit an unmarked pothole, lost his grip and crashed. Seemed in good spirits never the less. Good to hear, freak accident.
