    Eurosport commentary

    Discovery+ is showing both the world cup cross races in the schedule this weekend, plus another men’s race on Saturday. None of them are on Eurosport 1 or 2 broadcast channels via Sky in the UK. Tennis and winter sports priority. I guess they may still be on the Eurosport website for subscribers.

    Discovery+ including sports now free to SkyQ and Glass customers. They added the sports in time for the Australian Open. Free for as long as you subscribe to Sky apparently. once set up you can watch with your account using the app on Sky and also the mobile app.

    Another year, still Rob Hatch is surprised when Nibali is dropped off the back on a mountain in a Grand Tour. I don’t get it. Surely by now that’s the expectation and we should be surprised if he doesn’t get dropped.

    Suggestion from the British Eurosport twitter feed when I asked if he was back on Saturday was that he is unwell so unable to travel. I think he's missed, although Rob Hatch does a decent job, especially when he's in tandem with somebody else rather than flyying solo.
