Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 14: Pau – Luchon Superbagnères (182.6k)

Time to dig into his suitcase of courage and do a job of work for a podium for the team

Vlasov to make himself useful, wouldn't that be a sight for sore eyes.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 14: Pau – Luchon Superbagnères (182.6k)

Isn't this almost the exact same route as in 1986?

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 13: Loudenvielle – Peyragudes (10.9k, ITT)

Only if you're a Nibali fan; otherwise it was a complete nightmare. When you have three contenders, and the least of them is the only one who doesn't crash out, it's a worst-case scenario.

Teams & Riders Jonas Vingegaard thread: Love in Iberia

My favourite quote of the race thus far (accidentally posted in the clinic thread first, no innuendo intended): "Normally, I don't have any bad days at the Tour"

Why not? (not just the lack of prep, but also potentially the physical damage. Just look at van Aert this year)

Checking back the tape from after the first time check, Remco actually spent a bit more time in the TT position than Vingegaard.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 13: Loudenvielle – Peyragudes (10.9k, ITT)

What's he supposed to do, just ignore the Tour for the rest of his life, even though he made 3rd place on his first try?

To be fair, Vingegaard hardly used the aero position either once he was on the climb.

I don't see why one would need to look further than the lack of foundation laid in winter, plus the impact of the physical damage sustained.
