I'm not stating Pogacar opinion but my own. As a body of work, stage wins may end up looking nice. But personally i don't care all that much. people made a big deal out of Cavendish stage wins in the TdF. I understand why people cared (body of work, longevity, professionalism, all that jazz), it...

My two cents one some stuff that is talked about: - Giro comeback : way too soon, and he was not as complete a rider he is now. Sure he'll always be a bit more cautious on the downhill, and he won't ever have Pogacar bike handling, but he's improved considerably since his early days. He has...

Remco starts at 16.30 tomorrow. Unfortunately i'll probably won't get to to see it live.

Personally I feel the only times evenepoel needs to truly choose between GT and other races, is when he wants to focus on the giro. Before and after the tour/vuelta there are no major races that would truly disrupt GT or one day race goals.

So if Evenepoel is not always better than Ayuso, Del Toro, Almeida, Roglic, Lipo, whomever coming up he should discard GT ambitions? I disagree. I liked Cadel Evans, he seemed a top pro. I never thought he needed to stop his GT ambitions whenever he was beaten by other riders not named...

I disagree, not cause you have a bad stage, or even a couple of mediocre stages that you should throw away GC. The way I see it, people will be put on 15-20 minutes by Pogacar again. No need to panic therefore. Ofcourse I'm always in for a Remco surprise. But right now I see Pogacar by his...

Sorry, i will never support someone skipping a race only out of fear of crashing. Jarno Widar crashed out during one of his goals this season. It happens. Or are you suggesting riders should ride only the races 3 months prior the TdF, then skip everything to avoid crashing, then do the TdF, then...

I think Remco needs to be smart about his positioning as well so as to save as much energy as possible when getting food/bottles. I would even dare gamble. And avoid the hustle. Hang back a bit, and try and read the finale right so that the only time you waste energy on positioning is when the...

I don't think so. I think Segaert, Vermeersch, Lampaert his biggest adversaries in the TT i think. So long as he don't crash, he just needs to show up and race okay. RR is a different beast

First part of TDF is keeping Remco safe. Rouleurs can do that better than climbers. later part in the mountains, they would be in trouble anyways cause of their roster limitations even if full team was selected in favour of Remco. Not saying Soudal has no climber domestiques at all, but the more...

First one is TT. Sure it's a long day of prep but Remco only needs to be at around 80% to win that one cause he's that good at TT. RR comes later and any fatigue from travelling should be gone. I disagree with these picking your battles thing. That is what WVA did, and in picking his battles...

A podium in the tour is nothing to scoff at. Worth more than a 'measly' stage win.

Lets say you travel late in the day on the 26th. You race on 27th. Maybe take a rest day in between or light training on the 28th. Race again on the 29th, travel back later that night. day of rest maybe afterwards. That's 4 days, and you raced and possible trained a bit. just not on altitude...

Why would he not ride Belgian Nationals? I doubt it will make a big difference training wise. Not like he'll do any extra prep for either of them. Just a bit less time on the high mountains. But given that he spent months there already a few days more would only do so much imo. They're close to...

good GT weight is the weight in which Remco performs best. Up to him and the team around him to discover his optimal weight. They need to work it out sooner rather than later though.
