according to my commentary there are only 32 riders left in the race

well they also have the grand tours throughout the season. If for instance on a rider were to win the tour and giro and didn't win the worlds no one would think any less of them.

When I came on here all the comments were frustration about bad tactics. There was very little talk about the leaders and eventual winners.

I tuned in to the race after it had been underway a while and enjoyed it. Maybe that's because I was uninformed on who was "supposed" to win and what tactics everyone was supposed to be employing. I was happy for the winners . It did however seem pretty clear that there was ample opportunity...

Great win for the Canadian Vallieres. Everyone on the podium deserved it because they put in the work and went for it. I was glad when Markus got dropped as she wasn't pulling at all, just coasting along at the back. She actually slowed them down for a while.

Maybe but I don't see it as being the end of the world as many people here seem to think it is- perspective is needed.

I just thought I'd check out the reactions in this forum a while after the race and the amount of doom mongering is off the charts. I can't say that I'm surprised though .

Why would anyone question that Pogacar is human ? He's not a machine. He put himself out there competing in the TT IMO. The road race is obviously where his strength lies.
