His presence paralyzed the Schlecks in Pyrenees. I think that had Contador had the legs to ride at his best, the Tour would've been even more exciting.

Wiggins is going to make up for Contador's absence by animating the racing in the mountains with his attacking style.

    No doping controls??

I'm sure JTL knew there wouldn't be testing which would explain his great performance.Being from a Pro Continental team gives him exclusive insight into important decisions not privvy to the World Tour teams.

    No doping controls??

Shouldn't you be happy that he brought this issue to the surface as opposed to keeping it to himself, enjoying his good fortune if in fact he felt lucky about not being tested?

Why is Danielson being linked with Dekker and Millar? Have I missed his previous suspension for doping?

Tour du Haut Var (FRA) 18 and 19/02

Tour du Haut Var (FRA) 18 and 19/02

I'm not familiar with the new electronic systems but shouldn't they have some type of low battery indicator so incidents like this don't happen in the middle of a race? Also I would think that it's the team mechanics responsibility to make sure that everything on the bike is race ready, not the...

    2012 Tour of Oman (14th - 19th of February), 2.HC

According to stage report, Nibali attacked twice on the climb. The first time Velits and others responded and reeled him back in. The second time, Velits hesitated before responding and was never able to close the gap so Nibili was solo from the start of his second attack to the finish.

Now Alberto is out, who will win the 2012 Tour de France?

Conversely, who lost time as his teammates pushed the tempo into the wind, after forcing a split in the field?:) Whose teammate led a concerted effort to bridge back to him, pulling along many of gc contenders?:)

    Schlecks Depreciation Thread

For the self-proclaimed "world's best climber" to get out climbed by a sprinter (Baden Cooke) and 30+ other guys many of whom most of us have never heard of, is really a testament to his lack of personal pride (slacker training habits) and lack of respect for the event that he's in. For some...

It's easy for us to second guess their actions. We're not in the heat of the action, with adrenaline flowing.
