2016 Tour de France, Stage 21: Chantilly → Paris (113km)

And again NBC skips 90% of the awards and cuts to nascar. No team, polka dot, young rider or stage winner presentation.

The worst Grand Tour you can remember

Re: Amen. As long as there has been the TDF there has been someone complaining that the current edition is without a doubt the most boring one yet.

So, what do we do with spectators?

Not so sure these idiot fans are a new thing. Some may recall Chiapuci's amazing solo victory on Sestriere in 92. There were thousands on the road and he basically rode through a tunnel of humanity. And anyone recall Eric the photographer? What I see more of now are idiots on cell phones...

So much pathetic, sad hatred here. Grow up.

    2016 TdF, Stage 9: Vielha → Andorra Arcalis (185km)

Short of illness or a crash, is there any good reason to believe that Quintana can drop and put any significant time on Froome?

Rate the 2015 Tour de France !

Re: Re: Yep. Q simply wasn't strong enough to put the needed time on Froome. He had plenty of chances but just couldn't do it.

Tour de France 2015 stage 20: Modane - Alpe d'Huez

Bummer to see this hissy-fit throwing rider win this stage. Congrats to CF.

    TDF hotels and conditions

Amazing how often I hear riders say that their rooms were too warm. I suspect for an elite athlete the comfort zone is only a couple degrees. Too cold and it messes with their lungs. Too hot and they can't sleep.

Teams & Riders Thibaut Pinot discussion thread

Re: Looks like a Mavic neutral support bicycle. You so seldom see them being used I sometimes wonder why Mavic still bothers. Publicity I reckon. And yes, one is better off limping along on a ill-fitting bike than to stand on the side of the road having a hissy fit cause you can't get YOUR...
