Haven't tried SRAM. Tried Shimano 105 - didn't like it, too difficult to shift several cogs up/down fars - using glowes. Mounted some old Campy (8 year old Chorus), realy easy to shift - and works when covered with tons of mud. If I should buy new stuff it would probaly be Athena or 10sp...

I got an Imperiale last year. Realy love the bike. Haven't owned it long enough to realy know about the rear end quality; but went down in a turn, sliding on the asphalt 20meters, damaging the rear deralliur and bending the deralliur-hanger. Just bent it back - no damage to the frame. Used to...

Marzio Bruseghin: In Varese he did the main part of the job of closing the gap to the breakaway - he towed the peleton in all uphills and most of the flats between 100 and 200km. Superb assistant for Cunego in TdF (even if he at the performed better....)

Go for Fulcrum! They are not real aero wheels - but quite aero to be only mid-deep rim wheels, and feels very fast. (Well I have only tried the Campy "twin".)

Eurus and Zonda are also wery nice wheels at a lower price level. Top quality, Ok aerodynamic. (Or you can select one of the Fulcrum mid-range wheels if you don't want to mix shimano and campa labels).

Chorus. The quality and performance is superb - working perfect for years. Even if nobody have asked for 11speed, "everybody" are asking for a bit different cassette (one extra high gear, one lower, a bit narrower) - that's what the 11 speed is adressing. (But since my old Chorus are still...
