    And Tony "the Panzerwagen" Martin takes the yellow jersey! :D ... but i doubt he'll really try to defend it, should save some energy for TdF. But then again, if he'll be wasted again for the Cav-Train during TdF, maybe he should give it at shot at TdS now :confused:

    I wouldn't say that he'd have to start winning TTs again to be able to fight for a podium spot, considering this years Tour only features ~60kms ITT in total and the fact that he also lost a lot of time in the tour's ITTs back in 2004/2005 and still managed to compensate for it. But i agree...

    @ Michele: Ah alright, if the helicopters aren't always allowed to fly then that's a reason for sure. When i said ASO, i primarily thought of Paris-Nice and the Tour. As you've said, weather's usually good in July .... but it can be really bad during Paris-Nice .... but then P-N doesn't feature...

    Giro d'Italia Stage 15: Mestre - Monte Zoncolan (222km)

    I think Basso will do pretty good, he looked relaxed while being dragged along the last 20 kms today while Nibali, Evans and Vino did their little ITT ... so guess he was able to safe some energy
