I dont understand that either. Given his history, I would have started with 2 years? What could be the reasoning behind it.

My bad, I somehow had in mind that he was from Mexico City. Obviously wrong, thanks for correcting.

I'm still under the impression that Pog underestimated the altitude of this whole thing. Someone like del Toro who lived most of his live at 3000 m slm should be more used to it, but then again, I think the race is too long for him. There's usually not too many that can win a race of more than...

I think Jonas would have if the two would have gotten away together. Lots of ifs. We will never know

Vuelta a España La Vuelta a España 2025: Who will finish on the podium?

    1. Vingegaard, because obvious 2. Bernal, because I want him to become a force again in the peloton to compete for top spots 3. Gall, because I'm Austrian and root for him Ayuso, Almeida DNF because they both go down arguing with each other

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

How about a different take: Pog was bad positioned and didn't take handle the bike well when he crashed. (If we apply the same logic we apply to another certain slovenian rider when he hit the deck in Italy). The fuss with Pog is way bigger than if the same thing happened to any other rider...

What's wrong with Martinez' head though? Do you also see these twitches from his head? It's almost like he has Tourette 's or something

Isn't EF claiming they like to work with the difficult characters? Maybe that's the place for him. Wonder why they are never mentioned as possible destination. Still it feels like the obvious one would be Movistar. I don't get the INEOS vibe from him.

You could have done without that pointless jab at Bernal. But for the rest I have to agree, I think his TT setup could be better as he should be really good (even better) at them.

    Giro d'Italia Giro d’Italia 2025: Post-Race Rating Poll

7/10. But highly subjective, as Rogla crashed out. So if we assume 10 as starting point -1 for Rogla crashing out -2 for the first week +1 for the gravel stage -2 for the second week +2 for that baffling stage 20 shenanigans -1 because I didn't like the outcome

How is that even remotely what I wrote? He is a deserved winner, as they usually are in a 3 week GT. Still a stage win to top it off would show some panache and style. But hey, it's only my opinion.

I do agree, with Pippo_San. To win a GT without winning a single stage... I do find it a bit "meh". Yes, he was the best overall, but still atleast one stage win to sweeten the package. Well anyhow. Impressive performance today.
