Kinda funny that even though GVA is certainly the #1 rider in the world this year, he's not even nearly as marked as Peter Sagan is.

Re: Re: Hmm, my guess is that Mareczko is faster on a completely flat course like this, if they're sprinting head to head. Halvorsen isn't a pure sprinter and would probably benefit from a harder race, though. There's also a big question mark as to how he will handle the heat.

Re: Re: Because they were getting paced by the motorbike. It was way too close at all times. Just ridiculous to see 3 random guys not losing any time whatsoever leading into a climb when the peloton was going full gas.

Re: Incredible comeback by Contador, can't remember ever seeing him recover like that after initially getting dropped. The seconds he gained on Froome are probably negligible, but the confidence boost is not.

His name is Sindre...wonder where Sindruk came from :p Pretty strong team from Norway this year as well. Kristoffer Halvorsen will surely be up there in the sprints, particularly the uphill ones (see his finish from Nokere Koerse). Will also be interesting to see if 19 y.o Tobias Foss can...

Anyway, that's literally the best race I've ever watched.
