Great Performance Canc' was obviously in tip top form to rip out such a gap over 5 strong chasers. Maybe, and it's a maybe, the other favourites weren't quite so far in their conditioning? By mid April we'll know the answer................;)

2 weeks in april that first 80km from brugge out to oostende and round was brutal. worst part for me. re hotels in st.quentin managed to get in a cheap and cheerful place for not too much money.
