The ultimate fanboy - Indurain says Armstrong is Innocent!

Indurain reckons Armstrong is innocent. What the ****? Is he on drugs or something?

    Official London Olympics Doping thread

Like someone once said... 'I like Vino. When he goes racing, he goes RACING'. Or something like that. Strongest/bravest rider on the day, and read the race to perfection. Great race to watch too.

It's not about the facts (or how the Clinic became as repetitive as the dopers)

Well-said Nuash65. Objectivity is what we want, not backbiting and *****iness.

So Suddenly the Tour is clean. Where did this idea come from

Hang on a minute...I ride like that when I go into the red. That's no proof of drug use!

    Stage 18 Pinerolo-Galibier

Today at the Galibier Contador (and Sanches) showed the cost of his efforts to gain time in the previous 2 stages. He hasn't recovered. And he won't recover for tomorrow's Alpe d'Huez either. Thus, a Cleaner than Ever Tour. Who was it that said a clean Tour wouldn't be any fun to watch?

Does Andy Schleck lack the mental ability to ever win the TDF?

Disappointing as yesterdays' stage was racing-wise(Plateau de Bielle), one must bear in mind the week ahead...how much would they have depleted their already dwindling resources by going all-out and trying to gain time yesterday, when they have the might of the Alps to come in a few days' time...

    UCI Takes on the World

Switzerland is not in the EU. That's why the UCI, and many other sports governing bodies (F1, Footy) are based there. No accountability.

helmets: too tight, thin, and unsafe?

Frankly, it seems to me that sponsor considerations have made helmets mandatory in the peloton. Are any less riders suffering from head injuries that was the case in the days when riders rode largely without? When you could easily make out who was who? I raced at a time when even schoolboys...

    UCI appeals Contador decision

Surely it is logical that AC would not have risked taking anything detectable since all this blew up. Yet he is still performing at the same level as in the past. Initially I wanted to see him banned. But now, considering his continued awesome form whilst riding clean, I would definitely give...

    Contador acquitted

Does anybody imagine AC risked being anything but totally clean in the Algarve this weekend? Classy riding for his first race back, whatever he did in the past.

Keep your junk warm in winter

Get an MTB, go offroad, wear hiking clothes. It's still cycling. Last Sunday, 8 miles and a lot of laughs in 2 hours. No cold extremities.

Kelly: Transfer fees - Do you agree?

Imagine a small team, with the chance to make big bucks if they bring on an unknown rider. What is the one guaranteed way to 'bring on' an unknown, and thus get big transfer fees?

are you covered with crud mk2?

Hi Roland I send out spares by request, and occasionally suggest the recipient posts a review on a bike website if he is happy with my service and products. Seems that Dan has gone over the top a bit here, but he is a genuine satisfied customer. Cheers Mr CRUD

    What about Bugno?

I saw him win a world cup race in Brighton (UK) in the early '90s. We used to train on the long steep climb before the finish. Small ring, middle block if we were really going well. You could hear us panting for breath 20 yards away. Bugno came up there on his own having attacked at the...

    General complaint thread

My first-ever post on Cyclingnews, and it's about bread! I am lucky enough to have a house in Annecy, Haut Savoy. Heavenly bread and croissant, and mountains that go UP to heaven. Eat your heart out. What was the subject of this thread again?
