    Transfers and Rumours 2012 > 2013

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/rohan-dennis-signs-with-garmin-sharp Rohan Dennis signs on with Vaughters, I know this guy is a huge talent but what type of rider do you think he ends up to be in the big time. Would maybe Taylor Phinney be a good comparison.

    2012 Tour de France: Stage 13: Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux → Le Cap d'Agde (217 km)

Any team that has big George on it will never be caught out in echelons, every time I have ever seen the field split up the wind during the tour their are 2 riders involved in everyone were George and Fabian

2012 Tour de France: Stage 11: Albertville → La Toussuire - Les Sybelles (148km)

And we all thought the Giro was bad 100 times better off a race so far, at least there the course provides some natural selection because of the steepness of the climbs. These climbs 20 people can easily finish together

2012 Tour de France: Stage 11: Albertville → La Toussuire - Les Sybelles (148km)

You can tell how boring it is when on Eurosport all they are talking about is the pedaling style of the breakaway riders. FML

2012 Tour de France: Stage 11: Albertville → La Toussuire - Les Sybelles (148km)

Well that is exactly what they did Schleck waited for Zubeldia when he dropped and paced him back to the leaders before the top of the climb

So what do Evans and Nibs have to do to win this?

I think the Nibali's team is the key, if Szmyd can do his thing and then hand off to the great return of ROBOBASSO, then maybe they can brake Wiggo even though he likes a constant pace. In other words besides a De Gendt like stage (which never happens in the Tour) it will be extremely difficult.

    2012 Tour de France - stage 3: Orchies - Boulogne-sur-Mer (197km)

Anyone know who is out the back from Garmin yet has to be a GC guy or 2?

Liquigas looks good for the tour

will be tough for them even though this team will be strong on paper, I don't think Basso's style will work to well splitting the field on these type of tour climbs. I do think that Nibali and Sanchez will fight it out for a podium spot, both have similar skills, and will want to gain time on...

    Tour Rider Selection and Roles

Today in the tour de suisse the couple Garmin hopefuls for the the last tour domestic spot Peterson, VanSummeran and Dekker all finished around 3 min down. Didn't get to watch any of the stage did Garmin take any pulls on the front or do any work during the stage.

    Tour Rider Selection and Roles

I really wish they would have sent one of the three GC guys to the Giro, I think any three could have been on the podium and if Ryder did it these 3 could of also.

    Tour Rider Selection and Roles

Thats about what I think, the 2 spots still open are Haussler and Van Summeren . While that is the team I Would take Vaughters often does unexpected things with his tour squad. Others that could make it Hunter, Maaskant, Dekker, Tom Peterson, Koldo Fernandez or even someone like Alex Howes...

    Tour Rider Selection and Roles

With the Tour a month away and the Tour prep races currently going on I thought it might be good to have a thread to discuss which riders each teams will bring and what roles (GC leader, MT. dom, flat puller, sprint train, Sprinter, Breakaway rider) these said riders will play for their team...

Which Martin Will Finish Higher in the TDF GC?

Dan will lose time early so he can go in breakaways and go after the KOM, Tony will finish around 25th and Dan between 30 and 40th

    Joseph Dombrowski

Nevermind He is going to Italy for the Baby Giro, Trek-Livestrong will not be in Portugal but the Garmin devilment team will be

I think I saw somewhere you was going with something like team USA, looked for the article but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thought that it was on a cycling news article.
